An exquisite experience to say the least. The diversity of the menu is great, the quality of the food is impeccable, the ambience is perfectly balanced between clean design and warmth. But without a doubt, the staff are phenomenal. The friendly approach, the smiles, the care for their work, something as simple as attention to detail with beverage and cutlery placement, everything they do is a work of art. The prices are more expensive than your average restaurant, but rightly so. The price you pay is absolutely reflected in the quality of both the food and the whole dining experience. Definitely try this incredible restaurant while youre in the area. Lugar bonito e tranquilo. Como uma salada de espinafre e um bife de atum grelhado fenomenal. Infelizmente não fiz fotos. Para a próxima pois pretendo voltar 😋😋 Delicious food. Das Hexagon ist ein gehobenes Restaurant. Es wird professionell geführt und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, überaus freundlich und fachkompetent. Wir waren mit vier Personen zu Gast und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal in der Küche versteht ebenfalls ihr Handwerk. Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte sowie die Desserts ließen keine Wünsche übrig. Bij toeval hier mogen genieten van een topervaring. In menig sterrenzaak in Nederland wezen eten maar dit restaurant mag zich zeker meten met de toppers van de Michelin.. pure smaken van vlees en zee vruchten.. Tijgergarnalen die smaken of ze 5 minuten geleden gevangen zijn.. Vleesbereidingen waar menig kok wat van kan leren.... een parel in Portugal.. of in de wereld? ~ mike v

Une excellente expérience ! La nourriture était tout simplement parfaite, avec des saveurs exceptionnelles dans chaque plat. On sent vraiment la qualité des ingrédients et le soin apporté à la cuisine. Le service était également impeccable : attentionné, rapide et très professionnel. Todo o jantar foi uma experiência. Questionei o proprietário qual aconselharia entre 2 carnes. A resposta foi: 'se não pudesse aconselhar as 2, não teria na carta'. É uma demonstração de confiança tanto na qualidade do produto como na sua confecção. Acabamos por pedir as 2 carnes e o resultado foi uma explosão de sabores. Obrigado ~ Sergio R

Restaurant à la hauteur de sa renommée. UN waouh pour chaque plat du menu découverte sans parler des vins qui les accompagnent. Le patron est omniprésent au service de ses clients et le personnel est très sympathique. Celui qui critique cet endroit est vraiment difficile et ne comprend rien à la gastronomie. Fantastisch gegeten bij Hexagone. Enorm vriendelijk personeel die goed uitleg geven over onder andere de verschillende wijnen. Daarnaast in voor een grapje. Kwaliteit van het eten is superieur, erg mals vlees en vis. Wellicht iets prijziger dan andere restaurants, maar voor deze kwaliteit komen wij zeker terug. Qua uitzicht is er weinig te zien, maar qua eet beleving des te meer. ~ Peter V

Fui com minha esposa comemorar nosso aniversário de 10 anos, e foi uma experiência extremamente satisfatória. A comida estava impecável (comemos camarão tigre e rib eye de angus) e o atendimento que recebemos do início ao fim foi atencioso e simpático. Fuimos a cenar 4 personas anoche y salimos encantados. Pedimos 3 entrantes y dos carnes y luego añadimos 3 postres y nos quedamos llenos. Los platos no son muy grandes pero tampoco son escasos. El servicio es de 10. Recomendamos probar el carpaccio de wagyu y el hojaldre de queso pero todo fue increíble. No es un sitio barato pero en relación calidad- precio me parece que está muy acertado. ~ Ana B

We visit this restaurant every year when we’re in the Algarve – we’ve been there five times already, and it’s always a highlight! The staff recognizes us every time, which makes us feel truly welcome. We especially love celebrating my husband’s birthday here. Last year, we came with his brother and his brother’s girlfriend, and this year we even brought our baby. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the staff speaks excellent English and even some German, which we really appreciated. My absolute favorite dish is the Iberian pork cheeks with mashed potatoes and vegetables – absolutely delicious! The starters and desserts are also fantastic. We’ll definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant! ~ Anastasia K

Tolles Restaurant mit exzellentem Service, wunderschönem stilvollen Ambiente und hervorragendem Essen. Die Steaks waren butterzart und perfekt gegart, feine Gemüseauswahl als Beilage. Auch das Cheesecake Mousse mit Cassava-Cake war ein Traum. Wenn man in der Nähe ist unbedingt hingehen, Reservierung ist dabei empfehlenswert. ~ Markus B

We had the pleasure of dining at Restaurante Hexagone Steakhouse by Gilberto Gato, and it was truly unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The steak was one of the best we’ve ever had! What made the experience even more special was the warm hospitality. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The entire team was highly professional, attentive without being intrusive, and made sure everything was just right throughout the evening. This is a place where passion for great food and genuine service come together in the best possible way. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back! ~ Max

Toll. Toll. Toll. Service exzellent. Essen super. Ich empfehle das Angus Filet oder die Seezunge (Linguardo). Wer möchte und über das nötige "Kleingeld" verfügt, der sollte unbedingt das Taste Menue ausprobieren. 5 Gänge mit abgestimmten Weinen. Die Auswahl trifft der Küchenchef. Ein Traum. Hoje optamos pelo hexagono como local para celebrar no nosso casamento de forma simples , acolhedora, e requintada, foi a nossa primeira vez neste espaço, e não poderiamos ter feito melhor escolha, tudo esteve a altura das expectativas desde o atendimento sempre pronto e simpatico do sr. Wir sind durch die gute Bewertung auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es war sehr lecker. Tolle Qualität der einzelnen Produkte. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist schon etwas gehobener und auch nicht ganz preiswert. Uns hat es aber wirklich gut geschmeckt. ~ Luisa L

Nous avons apprécié cet établissement. Réservation pour 13h30. Accueil parfait avec un effort pour nous parler en français. La viande très bonne et très bien préparée. Le poisson du jour bien cuit et l’accompagnement parfait. Un bémol pour les desserts. Possibilité de choisir des portions réduites. ~ Paul O

Unexpected culinary delight! From the moment we entered we experienced nothing but excellence. The most attentive & friendly waiting staff they cannot do enough. My husband & I shared the Sliced Cod starter - which just melts in the mouth. We each then had the Fillet Mignon with red wine & balsamic sauce & dauphoinoise potatoes & roasted vegetables. THE best steak I have ever tasted - cooked to perfection! We completed our meal with desserts to die for, the orange roll (an Algarvian dish) and a chocolate orange cocktail that you have just got to try!! This hidden gem really is a treat & an asset to Carvoire /Ferragudo ~ hayley c

We ate here a couple of nights ago on our last night in Portugal, so glad we did, the experience was amazing! We were a largish group, (7 of us), we booked a few days in advance and we were given a lovely large table right in the middle of their outdoor seating area with a great view of the sunset! The food and wine was out of this world, was the 1st time 2 of the kids had ever had a steak cooked in a proper steakhouse and they were blown away by the quality of the food, we all were, can't rate the chefs cooking skills enough stars. The atmosphere /banter /interaction between the staff and the kids was top notch aswell, especially considering how nice the place is, the staff really were amazing, funny, courteous, always there to top your wine up for you etc, they really made it an outstanding evening for us. 100% will be returning on our next trip. Fantastisch goed eten en hele vriendelijke, professionele service! Heerlijke voorgerechten gehad: de foie gras en de geitenkaas. Als hoofdgerecht de salade, echt een aanrader! Risotto com “estrela Michelin” foi o que comi neste restaurante, para mim, exótico! Qualquer que seja a escolha será sempre surpreendido pela qualidade. Fomos comer um risotto vegetariano, mas pedimos um ingrediente especial, vieiras, ficamos sem palavras!! Desde a simpatia do Sr. que nos deu as boas vindas ao simples café acompanhado por um discreto mas delicioso biscoito, tudo esteve perfeito! Une magnifique ambiance pour fêter en famille(7) l'anniversaire de ma fille. Tout était parfait l'accueil très souriant, le service, les mets exceptionnels, la sangria et les vins. Agréable surprise pour le gâteau servi à l'assiette avec la bougie pour ma fille, accompagné des souhaits et des applaudissements. Ce fut un beau moment. Ils parlent bien le Français et sont aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant tout était parfait. Encore merci. ~ MC M

Estava tudo perfeito. A qualidade da carne (Rib eye) e acompanhamentos é de excelência. Sobre vinhos: têm bastantes opções mas nós não bebemos nada com álcool e optamos por sumo natural de laranja. Ambiente acolhedor com cadeiras confortáveis e mesas espaçosas. O atendimento é super agradável e profissional. Realmente as críticas negativas não condizem com a experiência que tivemos. Não poderíamos ter escolhido um lugar melhor para comemorar uma data tão especial. ~ thauany s
